Gary's Bio
I was born in Berkeley, CA and grew up in the nearby cities of Albany and El Cerrito. As a youngster, my interests focused upon basketball and the sciences.

I've always been fascinated by the weather and have sought to understand it's causes. To encourage me in my learning my parents bought me a weather station which my dad installed on the top of our roof.

After high school I attended UC Davis where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Science. During that time I won a prize for being the best forecaster in my class.

The following year I enrolled in the Atmospheric Science graduate program at UCLA. For the next three years I was a teaching assistant for the Atmospheric Science 3 course for non-science majors. My research project was on El Nino's effect upon precipitation in California.

Upon receiving a master's degree in Atmospheric Science I decided to join staff with Campus Crusade for Christ. My first assignment was the conservative campus of UC Berkeley followed by a brief stint in Los Angeles. For the past five years I've been at Crusade's headquarters in Orlando where I create videos for the Campus Ministry.
